Recall regulations - use of microphone / megaphone / interphone / public address system

What this means for your checkride

For large airplanes subject to this rule, portable battery-powered megaphones must be readily accessible to the crewmembers assigned to direct emergency evacuation, installed in the numbers specified by passenger seating configuration. At least one megaphone is required on each qualifying airplane.

Pilots and crew must know the emergency communication equipment required for directing an evacuation.

A code on your test report is an area of deficiency. An authorized instructor must review it with you and endorse that review before you take the practical test, and the examiner may revisit it during the oral. Study it until you can explain it out loud, not just recognize the answer.
