Aviator IQ is operated by Oddly Sunny LLC, a New Jersey company. By accessing or using Aviator IQ, including this website and any associated apps, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

What Aviator IQ is

Aviator IQ is an educational study tool with practice questions and readiness analytics for FAA airman knowledge tests, including pilot certificates, instructor and ground instructor knowledge tests, the UAS (drone) test, and the aviation mechanic ratings. It includes free and paid features.

Not affiliated with the FAA, and no guarantee of passing

Aviator IQ is an independent, private study service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the U.S. Department of Transportation, or any testing vendor. Our practice questions are written from publicly available FAA handbooks, the Airman Certification Standards, and testing figure supplements, and may differ from the questions administered at official testing centers.

Aviator IQ is educational and practice material only. It does not grant any FAA authorization, and use of it does not constitute an authorized instructor endorsement under 14 CFR 61.35. A certificated instructor signs you off to test, and the FAA grades the actual exam. We do not guarantee that using Aviator IQ will result in passing any knowledge test. The readiness score is a study aid and progress indicator, not a prediction or promise of a passing result.

Your account

If you sign in or make a purchase, you are responsible for keeping your access secure and for activity under your account. Tell us at hello@aviator-iq.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Purchases and access

• Access is sold as a one-time purchase, not a subscription. There is no auto-renewal and nothing to cancel.
• Current plans are an individual exam for $29, the Pilot Career Pass for $79, and the A&P bundle for $49. Prices are in US dollars and may change; a change does not affect a purchase you have already made.
• Each purchase grants access from the date of purchase: 90 days for an individual exam, 6 months for the A&P bundle, and 12 months for the Pilot Career Pass. Access ends at the close of that period. You can email hello@aviator-iq.com to request an additional 90 days.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details.
• 48-hour money-back guarantee: if Aviator IQ is not what you expected, write to hello@aviator-iq.com within 48 hours of your purchase and we will refund it in full.

Acceptable use

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Aviator IQ for your own personal study. You agree not to:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or publicly post the question bank, explanations, or other content.
• Use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools to extract or download content.
• Resell, sublicense, or share your access, or use the content to build a competing product.
• Reverse engineer any part of the service, or interfere with its operation or security.

We may suspend or end access if we reasonably believe you have broken these terms.

Intellectual property

The practice questions, explanations, readiness scoring, design, and the Aviator IQ name and logo are the property of Oddly Sunny LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. The underlying FAA source material is public; our selection, wording, structure, and analytics are not. Your purchase grants a personal license to use the content while your access is active, and no other rights.

Accuracy

We work hard to keep every question correct and tied to its FAA source, but regulations and handbooks change and there can be a delay before our content catches up. Always confirm against the current official FAA publication and a certificated instructor, and report anything that looks wrong so we can fix it.

Disclaimers

Aviator IQ is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that its content is complete or current.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, Oddly Sunny LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for outcomes on a knowledge test or in the aircraft. You are responsible for your training and for your decisions as a pilot or mechanic. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continuing to use Aviator IQ after a change means you accept the revised terms.
