Recall regulations - operations manual

What this means for your checkride

Each certificate holder must prepare and keep current a manual for the use and guidance of flight, ground operations, and management personnel in conducting its operations. The manual must include the instructions and information necessary to allow personnel to perform their duties with a high degree of safety, and each page or electronic manual must show the date of last revision. Copies must be furnished to appropriate personnel, crewmembers, and assigned representatives of the Administrator.

Crews must know that the required operations manual is a controlled, current document governing how the operation is conducted.

A code on your test report is an area of deficiency. An authorized instructor must review it with you and endorse that review before you take the practical test, and the examiner may revisit it during the oral. Study it until you can explain it out loud, not just recognize the answer.
