This policy explains how the Aviator IQ mobile app (the "App"), operated by Oddly Sunny LLC (New Jersey, USA), handles your information. The App is built to collect as little personal data as possible.

No account

The App does not require an account or sign-in. We do not ask for your name, email, or contact information to use it. A first name you optionally enter is stored only on your device to personalize the app.

Data stored on your device

Your study progress, answer history, streaks, flagged questions, and readiness score are stored locally on your device only. We do not upload or store this data on our servers, and it is removed if you delete the App.

Subscriptions

If you buy Aviator IQ Pro, the purchase is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed on our behalf by RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status (active or not) so the App can unlock Pro features. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple and Google process the payment under their own privacy policies.

Notifications

If you turn on study reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device at the time you choose. These are generated on the device. No notification content or schedule is sent to us.

Analytics and crash reports

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymous usage (for example, which screens are used and where people subscribe), and Firebase Crashlytics to record crash reports so we can fix problems. These are not tied to your identity, the App does not use the device advertising identifier, and it does not show the App Tracking Transparency prompt, because it does not track you across other apps or websites.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Children

The App is intended for people preparing for an FAA airman knowledge test and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
